about me
"Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future" by John F. Kennedy. As an aspiring early childhood educator, this quote resonates deep within me.
Hello, my name is Wan Ching and I am currently pursuing a diploma in Child Psychology and Early Education. In the past three years, I have undergone 2 practicums and a 6-month internship where I had the opportunity to work with children of different age groups. This further confirmed my passion for this industry and motivated me to work even harder so I can give the best to the children under my care. Through my involvement in different projects during my studies, I have honed my leadership skills as well as my communication skills which I think are very important to have in the early childhood industry.
I strongly believe that all children are unique in their own special way and we should respect them for who they are. I aim to help my students express themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well as embrace the differences of others. As my mother is an early childhood educator herself, she is a huge inspiration to me. I have since developed a passion for working with children and nurturing them into the person they aspire to be. Therefore, I think that children are the future of the world and as their teachers, we should nurture them into the best versions of themselves that they can be.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
